Fourth of July worldOne Festival in El Cerrito

Celebration time again in El Cerrito! The fabulous cultural festival put on by worldOne — free music, great artisan booths, food, games, tons of fun!  Corey Mason and Debra Sue Kelvin are the wonderful producers of this great event.   This is Corey and friend at the Festival last year…

Learn more about worldOne radio, and about the festival, at worldOne’s website.  There’s a fun promo clip featuring Corey here.   Last year, Corey and I worked to make four of my mandala designs into 12 foot banners hanging as the backdrop to the stage, and we added two more this year.  Here are some photos of last year’s stage with the banners.

The Festival actually starts the evening of July 3rd, with Ghost Town Sound DJ Band playing music from 5 – 7 pm.  The main event is Sunday, July 4th, from 10 am – 6 pm.  The Festival is at Cerrito Vista Park in El Cerrito.  There’s ample free street parking and it’s about a mile from the El Cerrito Plaza BART station.  The address is 950 Pomona Ave, El Cerrito, CA
